‪An all-new episode of InsecureHBO

Ever since Insecure premiered last October, the show has received high praise from critics and garnered dedicated fans by awing them with hilarious quirkiness. Writer/producer/star Issa Rae’s original and almost effortless sense of humor shines in her portrayal of the main character, also named Issa, as she and her best friend, Molly (Yvonne Orji), encounter numerous bumps in the road such as infidelity, race in the workplace, and mental health.

Although funny and lighthearted most of the time, the show also features flawed, all-too-relatable characters. One of the pinnacles of Season 1 is when Issa cheats on her long-term boyfriend, Lawrence (Jay Ellis). This moment is so crucial to Insecure for two reasons: it kickstarts a shift in the plot and, more importantly, it’s a defining moment in television.

Even tracing back to the days of her web series The Mis-Adventures of Awkward Black Girl, it’s always been a quality of Rae to address taboo topics — biracial dating, racial insensitivity, and intoxicated sex, to name a few — so it would only make sense that Insecure would go above and beyond with issues that are not only more relevant but also more typically avoided.

“The idea of a woman cheating is so bewildering for a lot of men; like it’s a huge mark of betrayal for them in a way that’s kind of a double standard. I remember writing a film when I was younger and part of it had a woman cheating for reasons of lust and weakness. The executive who read it told me that a lead woman could not cheat because it makes them immediately unlikeable.” Issa explains in regards to implementing the concept.

“He strongly believed that women could not come back from cheating and I remember thinking how unfair that was because I watched shows and movies where women forgive men for cheating all…the…time [Fatal Attraction, The Loft, Boomerang, Bruce Almighty, Gone Girl, in case you need a reminder]. It was also important to me to have Issa cheat precisely at a moment where Lawrence wasn’t necessarily at fault; where it wasn’t about him, it was about her.”

We can’t help but sympathize with both Lawrence and Issa as we watch them struggle with the secret once it’s revealed. The amount of hurt and anger emitting from both parties is a landmark in the show because of its accurate portrayal of gender dynamics. Men, who are assumed and, often times, depicted as tougher harbor the same amount of emotions that women do but are commonly discouraged in their exudation of it. Insecure shows a grown man not only hurt but acting out in response to the pain inflicted on him by a girlfriend.

Shark Kills a Man Boogie Boarding at cape cod !!! Why shark attack on human

A man died Saturday of suffering caused by injuries sustained during a shark attack on Cape Cod, said the first shark attack in Massachusetts in eight decades. The 8 Dekade event had indeed been a long time until many beach visitors were safe to surf the beach.

Bystanders attracted a 26-year-old man to Newcomb Hollow Beach and did CPR, Wellfleet Police Lt. Michael Hurley said in a statement. He was sent to Cape Cod Hospital, where he later died, Hurley said. The man's name was not immediately released, but the Boston Globe reported that he was Arthur Medici, from Revere, Mass., A city in Northeast Boston.

The National Park Service, which was in charge of part of the Cape Cod National Seashore, tweeted that the attack occurred about 300 yards south of the coast, and about 30 feet from the coast, according to the Boston Herald. The Cape Cod National Seashore said it closed access to the beach overlooking the sea. Witnesses told the Associated Press that the man was boogie-boarding with a friend. Hurley said the Cape Cod district attorney would handle an investigation into the incident.

And before long the victim was immediately bitten on the part of the boogie-boarding to hit his leg. After that, the shark biting on the abdomen was reported by eyewitnesses.

Why are there so many cases that make sharks run after surfers or boogie-boarding like the case in Cape Cod?

According to an expert who studies animal behavior at the University of California, namely Peter Klimley, sharks don't like to eat human meat. That's because human meat is not tasty enough to be the food. Then, why has shark attacks on humans lately increased?

Of the 480 species of sharks, only a few species attack humans. The attack generally happened because the shark was mistaken. In murky water, sharks are sometimes difficult to distinguish humans from prey that they often attack. When sharks bite humans, sharks generally free them and swim away looking for other prey. Sharks have nerve endings in their teeth. The nerve can distinguish between living things that are rich in fat and those that are not, like human flesh. Since the first shark attack was recorded, in 1580, there were less than 2,800 shark attacks and 498 attacks that caused death worldwide. If someone swims in the sea, there is only 1 in 11.5 million, the person is likely to be bitten by a shark. The possibility is very small.
Then why do shark attacks increase in North Carolina, South Africa, and the beaches that surfers often use?
The reason is the weather. For example in North Carolina, most of the attacks there take place at the height of summer, when sea temperatures reach around 80 degrees. But the late-spring heat wave warms the ocean earlier than usual. That makes sharks arrive, while more and more people go to the beach.
Also because of the long drought in North Carolina, which means less rainwater that flows into the sea. This makes the waters on the beach warmer so that many fish swim on the beach. With so many fish swimming, sharks arrived at eating on fish.
